Yoga Asana Practice:
The purpose of our physical yoga practice is to balance our energy centres, to find alignment physically, mentally, and emotionally, while preparing the body and mind for stillness. It is in stillness that we can tap into our inner world our innate and true self at where there is nowhere to be and nothing to fix. “Sat Nam” – Truth of my essence.
Essential Oils:
Many essential oils have the properties to help calm and heal the body and mind. These are three of my favourite blends that can enhance your mediation and/or yoga nidra practice.
Designed to aid the flow of your life, and compromising of some of my personal favourite oils.
FRANKINCENSE was a gift given to Jesus by the Three Wise Men. Obtained from the resin of the Boswellia Carterii Tree. This tree grows and thrives in the desolate conditions of Somalia and Pakistan. It has meditative qualities that calm and ground, enhance spiritual wisdom and helps reduce anxiety. Perfect for protection.
ROSE is known as the “Queen of essential oils.” It has been said that Cleopatra bathed in rose petals. Rose brings comfort and warmth healing emotional wounds, opens the heart and restores compassion. A nurturing aphrodisiac that refreshes the soul.
NEROLI is the rescue remedy of essential oils. Neroli helps with making choices, creating space to make things happen, and helps to ease grief and emotional turmoil. It is useful in combating shock, reducing states of anxiety or stress by helping to calm and settle emotions.
PATCHOULI brings heart & head together in unity. It’s a nerve stimulant and can be used as an aphrodisiac for seduction. Patchouli is also used to promote peacefulness.
GERANIUM helps balance hormones, enhances mood, promotes feelings of optimism and stability, balances emotions, calms the mind, and eases frustration and irritability.
MANDARIN is known as the “ happy oil”. Mandarin Is refreshing and uplifting. It removes negativity and assists in moving forward from painful memories.
LAVENDER Soothing and Healing with antiseptic and antifungal properties. It nurtures, eases insomnia and headaches.
Contains essential oils of black pepper, jasmine, mandarin & ylang ylang. Santosa helps you to live in the moment, enjoy life, be content with what is, and evoke feelings of peace & tranquillity.
BLACK PEPPER gives direction, helps with emotional stamina, eases digestive disorders and arthritis.
JASMINE eases depression, irritability and nervous unrest. Live happily in the moment, release anger and irritability, soothe the soul.
YLANG YLANG promotes peacefulness, calm thoughts and emotions. It releases anger and can be used as an aphrodisiac.

Contains essential oils of patchouli, pine, geranium & vetiver .Yin calms, grounds and centres your spiritual energy. Bring peace, joy and gratification. Helps alleviate stress & anxiety. Balances excess Yang energy in the body.

VETIVER is earthy and grounding, and smells like the damp of the rainforest. It ignites your spiritual energy and helps to remain centered. In Ayurvedic medicine it is recognised as a tonic for fever and headaches. Known in Sri Lanka as the “Oil of Tranquility.”
To use:
Simply apply roll on balm to pulse points or use the essential oil blend and place a few drops into a diffuser to enhance and gain the full benefit of your mediation practice.
