What is Aromatherapy?
Aromatherapy is a holistic therapy using Essential Oils (EOs) to help improve the quality of life on a physical, emotional and spiritual level.
Essential Oils have been found to heal skin and strengthen immunity and are also capable of relieving mental conditions such as anxiety and depression as they have the power to influence your moods and feelings.
What are essential oils?
Essential oils are pure plant extracts obtained from the flowers, petals, leaves, fruit, rind seeds and roots of aromatic plants. Essential oils are natures alternatives to the many synthetic chemicals that have invaded our lives and homes in the name of health, cleanliness and environmental enhancement.
How can aromatherapy benefit me?

How to use essential oils:
Massage: Add 5 drops to 10mls base oil or cream
Bath: Add 6 drops to a full bath with disperser or milk and agitate
Shower: Add 4 drops to corner of shower & inhale aroma while showering
Oil diffuser: Add 6 to 8 drops of EO to water
Inhalation: Add 3 drops to tissue for use at night or to carry with you during the day, or add a few drops in the corner of the shower
Banksia Pod: Simply remove the cork stopper and add 6-8 drops
Blending guidelines:
Blending proportions are a 2 to 1 ratio. eg. for 10mls of base oil or cream use 5 drops of essential oil. The ratio is halved for children and the elderly as their absorption levels are slower.
